Virtual (Digital) Organ Clips
Unfortunately, recordings I made, or were made for me, of my organ playing while I was at Pacific were all made on a then state-of-the-art, now extinct Ampex 8-track tape recorder. There are services that can resurrect that format, but they are expensive, and working with equipment at UArts I determined that the tapes were too degraded to be worth the effort. No doubt my memory of the recordings is much more satisfactory than the performances were, if I were to hear them again.
Until I again can sit at a real organ, I have to satisfy my desire to make those sounds using my computer, a Roland synth box, M-Audio es88 keyboard and Bias software. Here are some clips of these fledgling efforts. These are Quicktime files; click each to play.
